The next day, Mickey finds Hayley has blocked him from her online accounts. He assigns Lorna to her first case, repeat client Sam Scales, arrested for fraud, who mentions a much larger project. Lorna becomes stressed over the case, but manages to get Scales demodé of jail. In Julian's trial, Mickey reveals Gloria was killed shortly after being subpoenaed for Moya's case. Freemann tells her subordinate and second chair that she didn’t inform the domestic abuse victim about her abuser's release. Forsythe casts doubt on Mickey's case. When Mickey calls Trina, she claims not to know DeMarco, and Judge Turner does more info not allow DeMarco to be called.
Ha Jae-yi was a very likable character for me, a strong female lead from the start-fighting discrimination in the permitido systems where female lawyers aren't given the same respect. Instead of being a push over, her reactions are sometimes less thought-pasado but certainly relatable.
There were inklings that season two would be the last we saw of Neve Campbell – who plays Mickey's first wife Maggie McPherson – as her role was drastically reduced.
